About us

our Beginnings

The International Church of WrocÅ‚aw was born out of the vision of local Polish Pastors from the 1st Baptist Church of Wroclaw who noticed an increasing number of English speakers coming to the city looking for a body of believers to worship with and serve.  In 2012 a couple from IMB ministry (Scott and Denise Wood) began meeting in the cafeteria area of the churhe missionary pastor of INCW.  Along with his wife Michelle, the Hamiltons have loved to be temporary parents to so many great international men and women.

Missionary pastor

I first came to Poland in 1984 on a student missions project.  Feeling the Lord's prompting to come back, in 1995 I returned, but this time with my wife and 4 children.

On Jan. 3, 2018 I began serving as the missionary-pastor for INCW.

"My heart is to see men and women grow in love for their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which overflows into a progressive life of obedience and joy as God’s grace flows to them and through them to serve others as they enjoy using the gifts He has given them and continue Christ’s ministry making disciples of who in turn make disciples as a life-long priority."

the core truths we teach
1. The Bible is the verbally inspired word of God and inerrant in the original writing, and that it is the only infallible rule for faith and life.

2. There is only one true God, self-existent, and by nature He is eternal, all knowing, all-powerful, and all present. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ was born of a Virgin, is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit, fully man and fully God. As the Son of God, Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross.

4. People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are born into this world with a nature of disobedience toward God; this is called “sin.” This sinful nature separates people from God. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to claim His church.

5. Salvation is God’s free gift to us, which was made possible through Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ and God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.

6. The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make all people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He inspired and guided the Prophets and Apostles with the revelation of Scripture. He also dwells in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He convicts men of sin and provides Christians with the power to grow in Christlikeness, to understand spiritual truth, and serve the church with the gifts He provides. As Christians, we seek to live under the Holy Spirit’s control daily.
