We are an English speaking ministry of the Polish 1st Baptist church of Wrocław. It was the vision of the local pastors to reach out to and serve the increasing English speaking population of our city. In 2012 the International ministry began.
We are a rich blend of many countries and languages but with the same desire to be the Body of Christ to one another in our time away from our biological family and countries.
We are a rich blend of many countries and languages that meet together weekly to worship and teaching from God’s Word in the large group gatherings on Sunday.
Throughout the week, we meet in homes and cafes in smaller groups to build intentional relationships to make disciples who make disciples as we reach out with the love and good news of Christ to friends and co-workers.
“We will make disciples who make disciples of Jesus.” through the steps of Sharing, Connecting, Ministering and Discipling.
Share – sharing the gospel with unbelievers and nurturing spiritual infants through meetings needs such as individual attention from a spiritual parent, protection and care, explaining the Word of God to them, and explaining and modeling habits of a believer.
Connect – guiding spiritual children through meeting needs such as being part of a spiritual family, spiritually feeding themselves, building relationship with Christ and other believers, exploring giftedness and concern for other believers.
Minister – training of young adults where needs are in helping them find appropriate ministries to serve within the body, spiritual parents who will mentor and debrief with them about the ministry experience, ongoing relationship with believers that offer encouragement and accountability.
Disciple – releasing spiritual parents who need a team to play on with other disciple-makers. Spiritual parents also need direction, encouragement, and training. No believer grows to the point that he or she doesn’t need further coaching. We always need to grow further in the process of sanctification and increased humility.
I first came to Poland in 1984 on a student missions project. Feeling the Lord's prompting to come back, in 1995 I returned, but this time with my wife and 4 children.
On Jan. 3, 2018 I began serving as the missionary-pastor for INCW.
My heart is to see men and women grow as disciples of Christ that make disciples of Christ.
